It was good for me that I was in trouble, that I might learn thy statutes. Psalm 119: 71. When we are in some trouble we will wonder why this trouble came in my life. Some suffering is to draw closer to God. God gives us some suffering to live with when we are away from Him. The psalmist says that suffering is a cause for learning God's laws. We go through some hardships to read and meditate on God's Word. If we do not have a relationship with God in prayer, then God also leads us to have a relationship with God in prayer. The pious have all gone through suffering. Dear child of God, if you are in distress, you are to live with God, not for your own destruction.
