God comforts the weeping
When the prophet Nathan came and reminded David of his sin, God forgave him when he repented and confessed.
If you confess with tears that your sins are forgiven before God, God will forgive you. You serve a God who is compassionate. God will forgive us no matter how great our sin. This is what Jesus Christ said to the woman who was guilty of adultery. When they all tried to stone the woman, Jesus said to them in general, "Let those who are without sin among you stone this woman." When they returned one by one, Jesus said, "I do not condemn you either. Do not sin anymore.
Dear child of God, no matter how great a sin you commit in your life, God will forgive you if you confess with tears. God wants you not to sin after that.
