 Will God lead his children through misery?

 Dear child of God, I often ask God why He brought this into my life when there are difficulties in my life.  Did God have a vision of Joseph and become the ruler of Egypt directly?  It was not. He passed through various trials and eventually became the ruler of Egypt.  God's presence was with Joseph in all the tribulations he went through.  So the trials that God passed through did not seem too difficult for Joseph.

 Dear child of God, God has allowed the trials you go through.  Your God is with you every step of the way.  Not to destroy you, but to build you up, to make you noble.
