If you do not obey God
God told Jonah to go to Nineveh. Jonah disobeyed God and set sail for Tarshish. The ship was in great danger, and Jonah was thrown into the sea. There the fish that God had commanded swallowed Jonah and Jonah lay in the belly of the fish for three days. Finally, the fish came to Nineveh and vomited Jonah alive. Later, Jonah preached the word of God there.
Dear child of God, if God has spoken to you directly, or through His Word, or through His servants, obey them. Or you may find yourself in a situation similar to that of Jonah. You will have to obey God in the end. So if we obey what God says, we can obey what God says without being punished.
