Let him who boasts boast in the Lord
1 Corinthians 1:31 says, "Let him who boasts praise the Lord." Dear child of God, if you have any talents, finances, dignity, or good fortune, you must remember that all these are given to me by my God. So I should not be arrogant or conceited. If there is anything to praise, it is to God who gave it all for free. The day will come when you will be accountable to God for the talents God has given you. Trade in whatever talent God has given you. So if it is a habit, so if it is comforting, so if it is the proclamation of the word. All these are given by God. So if you have anything to praise, it is Jesus Christ who was sacrificed for you on the cross of Calvary. Everything you have is given by the Lord. Get ready to hear the call of the good and faithful servant on the day when the Lord will give you an account of the talents he has given you.
