God's protection and watch
Unless Yahweh builds the house, the builders work in vain. Unless Yahweh guards the city, the watchmen keep on the watch. The psalmist says that if Yahweh builds your house, all your labor is in vain. The psalmist says that if the Lord does not wait for your country, state, or city, the police and the army will guard everything in vain.
Dear child of God, God has kept you for so long. God has built your house for so long. Instead, thank God for it. As God protects you and your kingdom, you must thank God day and night. God has not asked you for anything else. When God sends peace to you, your family and your country, you should thank God. Many people forget to thank God. Can you get here today without God's care and protection? God can take away the protection He gives. That is what the psalmist says when the Lord does not build the house, the builders work in vain. Unless Yahweh guards the city, the watchman watches in vain.
Dear child of God, you have a God who cares for you. Don't forget that. It is not by your ability or ingenuity that you survive by the grace of God. So give thanks to God who cares for you.
