 Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion, which endures forever

 The psalmist says:

 Those who trust in Yahweh are like Mount Zion, which endures forever.  The New Testament says so.  Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I shall liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:  The rain came down, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house;

 The mountains are full of rocks and no matter what happens, nothing will happen to the mountain.  Especially Mount Zion, the mountain of God, stands forever.  The foundation of the rock on which a child of God is Christ is like the everlasting Mount Zion.  A child of God will stand firm like Mount Zion in the face of adversity, plague, suffering, disease, poverty, and crisis.  Because the foundation is on the rock that is Christ.  To put it bluntly, those who hear and obey the Word can never be turned away from the love of Christ.
