"My grace is sufficient for thee: my strength is made perfect in weakness."
Dear child of God, are you suffering from physical and mental problems? God's hand is on your weakness to bear the burden of not getting a complete cure for your disease. God's grace is with you.
When the Apostle Paul sought refuge in God to be healed of an illness he had suffered in his life, God's answer to him was, "My grace is sufficient for you; my strength is made perfect in weakness." All I said to Paul was that I would give you perfect healing. My grace is sufficient for you. My strength is being made perfect in weakness.
Dear child of God, if you are overwhelmed by any illness and you pray to God for healing and you do not get an answer, God's grace is with you in the hardship of that illness that you have to bear. When your body is weak, the power of God makes your body and mind strong.
Paul prayed three times for relief from his sickness but we heard the words of God Himself comforting him. Despite this illness, he made three missionary journeys, wrote essays, was imprisoned, and it is difficult to describe Paul's suffering, including shipwreck. He established many churches, made many disciples in Christ, and was taken up to the third heaven. A godly man with so much life experience became a valiant martyr for christ.
We may wonder why God did not give Paul complete deliverance. Paul's answer to this is that he is suffering from this disease so that he will not be proud. It is often the case that various diseases do not completely leave a child of God, and God wants us to be partakers of Christ's sufferings so that we may not turn away from God and become as heirs to the kingdom of heaven, so that we may not become proud because of the gifts we have received like Paul.
