The three most important commandments taught by Jesus Christ
1. Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the greatest and first commandment.
2. You must love your neighbor as yourself.
3. Love your enemies.
The first and second commandments contain all the law and the prophets. The third commandment points to human divine justice. God's love is fulfilled in all men when it says, "Love your enemies in the New Testament, if you are punishing your enemies in the law." Jesus Christ not only preached but also prayed for those who persecuted him and became a sacrifice on Calvary.
