Paul's life and ministry Paul was a very rich man when he learned about him. Paul was highly educated at the time. Had Roman citizenship. He was a Pharisee. Hebrew, born of the Hebrews. Thus words are not enough to describe Paul's qualities. Christians would be arrested and persecuted for their zeal for the Law. When the Lord touched the steps of Damascus, he was completely changed. He later became a well-known apostle. Made three missionary journeys. Went through many hardships. Paul spent all his possessions for Christ. During his last days in Roman captivity, unable to bear the unbearable cold, he tells his real son, Timothy, to bring his blanket and leather inscriptions. Paul was a brave martyr before Timothy came. When he came to faith, the rich man Paul begged for a blanket when he died to escape the cold. Paul is a good example for us to understand in the true Christian life.
