 Is baptism necessary?

 If the Holy Spirit tells the saved person to be baptized, then be baptized.  When the minister of the Ethiopian queen, did not read and understand Isaiah, who wrote the prophecy about Jesus Christ, Philip proved it.  When he learned more about Jesus and saw a place with water, he said that he should be baptized.  Philip baptized Ethiopian.

 In Caesarea there was a centurion named Cornelius, of the Italian army.  The angel of God came to him in a vision, and said, 'Bring me Peter.'  When Peter preached the gospel, the Holy Ghost came on them, and they were baptized.

 So you go out and be baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19), as the Lord said to his disciples before he ascended to heaven.  If the Holy Spirit urges you to be baptized, be baptized.  When Jesus Christ was also fully baptized by John the Baptist, God the Father spoke and the Holy Spirit descended like a dove.  Then we can understand the importance of baptism.
