"Why does Jehovah not appear in the New Testament as in the Old Testament?"
Why does Jehovah not appear in the New Testament as he did in the Old Testament?
There was a time in the Old Testament when there was no law. In Old Testament times God appeared directly and in the form of an angel.
God was in direct contact with man at night and in other dreams and visions.
In the New Testament era, God came down in human form and provided salvation for free. The word of life was given for free. May God be holy and always dwell with us. Jesus Christ dwells in the heart of every redeemed child of God. God the Father intervenes in His Word. The Lord Jesus dwells in the heart. The Holy Spirit instructs the intellect as a good steward.
When God appears from time to time in the Old Testament. In the New Testament God dwells with His children as the Triune God.
