When will the other tongues go away? After the resurrection of Jesus Christ The Holy Spirit came upon those who were gathered in the upper room with signs on the earth. And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues. Since then, the Holy Spirit has been in charge. He gives the fruit of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Holy spirit to his children.When the Holy Spirit comes to gather his beloved children at the coming of the Lord and go up to heaven with them, the tongue will go away.
