"The Holy Spirit in the Old Testament and the New Testament"

In the Old Testament, God gave a special commandment to anoint the Holy Spirit The Anointing of David So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the midst of his brethren (1 Samuel 16:13). Saul's anointing "Then Samuel took the pot of oil, and poured it upon his head, and kissed him, and said, The LORD hath anointed thee to be ruler over his inheritance." According to God's command, the anointing was to be on the horn. When Saul sinned in the Old Testament, God sent an evil spirit upon him because he disobeyed God. Saul did not repent. David sinned but repented and confessed. David is a clear example of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit in the New Testament.
