Even when hope is lost, God begins to work. When Abraham and Sarah's hopes were dashed, God blessed them with Isaac. When we pray for some issues and think that we will not get an answer from God, when our hopes are lost, God will work for us. Abraham's God is our God too. Let the faith that Abraham's God is my God rule us without being disappointed that we are not getting the issues even after praying for a long time.
