Jesus Christ overcame death Dear child of God, do you fear death? Jesus Christ overcame death and rose again and dwells in heaven. If you and I die today, angels will come to join us. We will reach the lap of Abraham or Paradise. Why should we fear death? If you are a person who has sinned and disobeyed God's commandments, you will be afraid of death. If you live in holiness according to God's commandments, you will end up in paradise. If that hope rules you, you will not be afraid of death.
